John is Senior Director, Technology at ClearPointe, a managed services provider of 24x7 Network Operations Center (NOC) services. John is co-author of four books in the industry-standard reference series, System Center Operations Manager : Unleashed. His recent focus is helping customers deploy and manage Microsoft private clouds, architect hybrid clouds, and migrate workloads and virtual machines to public clouds such as Windows Azure. In his first career as a U.S. Navy computer scientist, John worked for NATO in southern Europe as Chief of Network Operations.
