Backup and DR Strategies for Your Business Running in Azure
Limited Capacity seats available

Session Description:
With Azure data centers coming up in all regions of the world, more and more enterprise customers are looking to migrate their business to Azure.  There are many questions and considerations enterprises must go through as they decide to embark on this journey. One such consideration is how well are they are protected when running their business in Azure and how do they achieve the same levels of protection as their current on premises backup and DR strategies. Traditional backup and DR players from the on premises world have taken the approach to provide this by simply “lifting and shifting” backup and DR solutions to run in an IaaS VM that compromises benefits of the cloud such as PAYG and freedom from managing backup and DR infrastructure.

What you will learn:
  • How Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery has taken a cloud-first PAAS approach to deliver backup and DR for enterprise customers that offers the same levels of protection as the on-premises world with all the promises of the public cloud such a PAYG, no infrastructure, scale on demand etc.

Limited Capacity seats available

UPDATE: We changed the demo (same tools) to show how you can identify, isolate, remidate WannaCry2 in less than 30 minutes.

Session Description:
What is causing your biggest headaches? Is it managing thousands of endpoints and tons of ad hoc issues that are plaguing your work day? Is it rolling out Windows 10? Maybe it is both. In this session, we will introduce and deep dive into a new solution that will allow you to easily create and execute queries against your entire IT estate, in real-time, with live results coming from each endpoint and not from a cache or database. We will also discuss how to automate Windows 10 migrations across all scenarios, including the most complex like BIOS-UEFI and disk encryption.

What you will learn:

Collection Evaluation Revisited (Option 1)
Limited Capacity seats available

Session Description:

hAcKath0n Results!
Limited Capacity filling up

You have a feeling that something you are doing can be done smarter, better, faster, easier. You have an idea about a tool you would love to see in any of the System Center products.  Well bring that idea and either Microsoft, Cireson, or Coretech will get a fix by the end of MMS.  That's right, you can get your change to CM made right at MMS.

The Microsoft devs ran a hackathon at the MVP Summit last year that was widely successful.  Many changes are already in CM now or will be soon.  Representatives of the team will be here at MMS to repeat that success.  And where a fix might just not fit CM itself, the Coretech team will make it happen.

You can assist us now by thinking up ideas and submit them here.

The best ideas chosen will win a Surface Pro 4!
