Limited Capacity seats available

Session Description:
ConfigMgr is SaaS-ified!! Come learn how MSIT and TAP customers have deployed ConfigMgr in Azure. One of the key changes we've made in the servicing model of Configuration Manager, is full support for IaaS hosting in Azure. In this session, we'll go into depth on how you can make that work for your customers, the ROI of Azure hosting, and some real-world examples of adoption.

What you will learn:
  • Azure is just another datacentre in your customers' environment
  • Size hardware like you would on-prem, following our hardware recommendations
  • Use DS VMs at a minimum, DS-v2 or even G4/5
  • Premium Storage is required for read/write intensive components
  • Stripe Pxx disks when larger capacity or higher throughput is required
  • ExpressRoute with an Unlimited data plan is recommended over Site to Site VPN. ExpressRoute Premium for hierarchies that span Azure Regions and multiple on premise datacentres
