In PowerShell scripts, faster is not always better. But sometimes it is. We are going to look at what to do and what not to do to make your script fly when every millisecond counts.

What you will learn:
  • Speed and functionality tradeoffs of various looping structures and other flow control structures
  • Cmdlets and processes to avoid and why and how
  • How and when to balance speed with other scripting considerations
