Session Description:
Sherry and Garth will show you the ConfigMgr database. This session focuses on common sources of data which end up in your database, and how to do queries directly in SQL Server Management Studio. The session will show you how to go beyond the default data sources with demos of custom inventory.

What you will learn:
  • Directly query your ConfigMgr database in SQL Server Management Studio
  • Customize inventory using multiple methods: custom registry keys, custom WMI, and scripts + WMI
  • Use WMI Explorer to find what you are looking for, to be inventoried.
