Limited Capacity seats available

Session Description:
Management Packs are the building blocks of an open and shared resource distribution mechanism. As altruistic and utopian developers, we always strive to live up to that expectation... our managment, however, wants the solution now. This session covers the wrong way to complete these same tasks. We use PowerShell and the power of the command channels and the timed command capabilities of the GUI based monitor/rule/alert tools to build your company's "Secret Sauce."

What you will learn:
  • SCOM as a launching platform for custom scripting tasks
  • SCOM as a timed trigger for complex scripted events
  • Rapid deployment of in-house solutions
  • How to avoid authoring management packs
