Session Description:
Greg and Kaido will demonstrate real-world PowerShell scripts that have been used with ConfigMgr. This session focuses on USING PowerShell with Task Sequences, Applications, Configuration Items, and good-old Package and Programs. You will learn how to extend inventory, capture user information, and more.

What you will learn:
  • Write PowerShell Rules for Application Detection, Configuration Items, Package/Programs, and Task Sequences
  • Use PowerShell to capture non-standard data, and place it so that ConfigMgr can consume it (via inventory)
  • Learn about the caveats when using PowerShell with ConfigMgr
